The 2026 Pantone Quilt Challenge: Cloud Dancer is open for entries! You have until next Monday, April 27, at 11:59 pm US central time to link up your projects!
Remember that you can find general info and rules here. No judges or prizes this year, but you’ll be eligible for a woven quilt label — and we welcome donations to help offset the cost of those labels.
There are 2 linkups at the end of this post — one for each challenge category. Please include your project title, quilt dimensions, and country of residence.

Other rules:
- Make a white-ish quilt.
- Aim for roughtly 90% white and 10% anything else. “White” can include: creams, off-whites, beiges, very pale versions of other hues, and low volume prints. “Anything else” can be: literally any other color.
- You can submit as many entries as you like. If you made 15 white-ish quilts, let’s see them!
- You can submit a completed quilt or a completed “just the quilt top.” In-progress or incomplete quilts will not be accepted. Part of the goal of this challenge is to finish!
- All items should be completed in 2026. There is no “for exhibit only” link-up this year.
- Entries will close on April 27 at 11:59 pm US Central time. Each entry should include a link to a public blog post, Instagram post, or other social media post where you share your entry. You should include the project title, quilt dimensions, and country of residence.
- When tagging @PantoneQuiltChallenge, using the #PantoneQuiltChallenge2026 hashtag, and submitting your final project, you agree that your photo(s) may be shared (with credit) by the hosts in blog and social media posts about the challenge.
Finisher’s Label
To receive your finisher’s label, you must FILL OUT THIS FORM no later than April 30. Labels will be sent via 1st class mail. If you are not in the US, please understand that it could take some time to arrive.

Thank you!
Thank you for participating in this year’s challenge! We made some changes to the challenge this year by skipping the judging and prizes, and we weren’t sure how that would go over — but we’ve been thrilled to see that you still had an enthusiastic response to the challenge of designing a quilt around a specific color! (Though can we get a non-neutral next year, Pantone?!)

Without further ado — it’s time to link up your projects!
Quilts

Not even too late when it all started, but even when it ends, sorry. I enjoyed making a little quilt and I finished it today, 29th of april. It’s on my insta account and hangs on a wall in my room and I still enjoy it for it’s quietness and soft colours in a world where those things aren’t so common anymore… Also enjoying the quilts and quilttops shown above, congrats to you all!
Oh I’m sorry you missed the linkup! Please do fill out the google form — we can still send you a finisher’s label.
I also missed submitting on time, but have totally enjoyed the process and challenging myself. Thank you for organizing! Posts on Instagram….
